To discover
Ljubljana is a very pleasant and dynamic city. It offers many attractions, picturesque neighborhoods, and charming spots. A lively green city that combines the charm of a small capital with the grandeur of major European metropolises. Since 1991, the city has been the main economic and cultural center of Slovenia, which became independent from Yugoslavia. The city is strongly influenced by Austrian style, similar to the cities of Graz and Salzburg. The old town is made up of two districts: the Town Hall area, which houses the main architectural landmarks, and the Knights of the Cross district, where the Ursuline Church, the Philharmonic Society building (1702), and the Cankar House are located. Ljubljana Castle overlooks the hill above the Ljubljanica River. Built in the 12th century, the castle was the residence of the Margraves and later the Dukes of Carinthia. Aside from the castle, the main architectural landmarks of the city are St. Nicholas Cathedral, St. Peter’s Church, the Franciscan Church of the Annunciation, as well as the Triple Bridge and the Dragon Bridge. The central market of Ljubljana is much more than just a place to shop, as it has always been a gathering spot where Ljubljana residents love to meet and relax.

Accommodation
The Ljubljana Business School does not offer on-campus housing, as it does not have a campus. However, there are some student hostels/dormitories available, and hostels or private rooms are also a good option. Keep in mind that Ljubljana is a small city, quite well-organized when it comes to public transportation (buses and city bikes). Our school is located in the Vič district, close to the city center. You can either find an apartment/room on a dedicated website or in a hostel. Private housing
